hahahaha ok so the post below was definitely me not peeny for all the freshmen that were confused (: hahaha but most of you probably didn't believe it to begin with, especially because peeny is in peru not argentina. hahaha i'm an idiot, i know.

hello all,
i know this is under julia's sign-in, but this is really brittany pineros (blogspot problems). let me take this time to tell you a little more about myself.
i'm small, but you know what they say, the best things come in small packages. people call me peeny, but don't let that fool you. i may be teeny, but i can be a meany. especially on the soccer field. i rip shit up. do girls dirty. you know what it do baby boo. i also am a legit goal scorer. and a workaholic. i have an unbelievable work ethic, whether it comes to soccer or school or whatever it is that i am doing. i'm also really smart. and for the longest time i wanted a soccer power couple, and always tried to pair off the new freshies, before realizing that it was actually me. i was the chosen one, half of what we would know to be the cutest CMS soccer couple of all time.

Thanks Laur I was getting a little bored with no posts and no fun posts. I just got back from a couple weeks in Michigan with my fam and couple days at my friend's beach house. The contents of which will remain undisclosed unless you want to ask me about it in person. Anywho it was super hard to find time to run so props to everyone staying in shape on vacay. And then I got back and twisted my ankle and split open my knee walking one night sooooo stupid me! No worries I will be fine.
I'm seriously counting down until back in C-mont. Annndddd there was a big Athena reunion in my dream last night. So great. Where are the rest of the returners that haven't posted??

ONE MONTH (ish) !!!!!!!
Hi Athenas aka future world champions,
so the blog has been dying lately.. so i think its time to spice things up. first off, as my title suggests, we are getting to the home stretch of summer, so everybody make sure your gettin those track workouts handled, lookin nice and swoll, and of course, getting SUPER tan.
also, has everybody just been working out all summer? hows life?! i'm in the last few weeks of my internship at a policy firm, its been super fun but im excited to have no responsibilities other than working out and enjoying SEAFAIR! (any other seattlites, let me know if you'll be on the water and we'll raft up!)
finally, i realized we have left a very important part of the summer blog unattended.. our warm up mix! so any song requests to get us super pumped up? Jules i'm putting you in charge of compiling it but everybody feel free to throw a song out there. Pre-season Jitters...Ugh!
So I am getting through the workout packet as best as I can. I am not out of shape by any means, but I have worries that I will not be ready for the season. The things that get me the most are the track days...I will admit, I am not the best at running 400m. and 800m. considering we are in month 2 and you have to do quite a few of them. I know it's bad, but I sometimes cheat and do half of the track workouts then add skill work, shooting, and body weight/resistance training stuff. My legs literally can not go any faster past a certain point, but I am positive that if you were to put me in an actual scrimmage or game I could do short bursts of sprints without it truly phasing me...with that last bit in mind I still have hope that all will be fine, but I am having some doubts whether or not I may die. Lol! jk. Gonna try something a little different and maybe incorporate ladder drills into my workout routine.
